Key Answers of Simple Present Tense Exercises

Which word is wrong?
Please correct these wrong sentences into the right sentences!

1. D - "yesterday" is wrong because it is the adverb time of past.
   Correct sentence: We do not write a letter today.
2. A - "Does" is wrong because there is no verb in the sentence.
   Correct sentence: Is she a doctor in the hospital?
3. B - "works" is wrong because the subject is plural. Plural subject uses verb without -s/-es
   Correct sentence: Mona and Mina work in the post office
4. B - The use of "Does" is wrong because the subject is plural.
   Correct sentence: They do not always get up every morning.

5. B - "are" is wrong because thsubject is singular.
   Correct sentence: Luna is a beautiful girl.
6. C - The use of article "a" in a aeroplane is wrong because "a" is just used for word in which the first letter is consonant.
   Correct sentence: The pilot drives an aeroplane everyday.
7. C - "bringing" is wrong because the verb of present tense in negative form must be V1.
   Correct sentence: Leni does not bring her umbrella today.
8. C - "the animal wild" is wrong because of the structure, noun is located before adjective. The correct one is that adjective must be located before noun.
   Correct sentence: Dona sees the wild animal in the zoo.
9. A - "There are" is wrong because it is just used for plural nouns.
   Correct sentence: There is a book and a pen on the table.
10. B - "eat" is wrong because the subject is singular, it must be +s
   Correct sentence: Devi usually eats an apple every morning.

Please arrange these sentences into the correct sentences!

1.    She always goes to school by bike every day.

2.    I do not usually book every night.

3.    Does she usually help her mother every morning?

4.    They usually play guitar with their teacher every afternoon.
